Some children may be less fortunate in a two-parent family because only the father or mother works. Single parent homes are under a lot of stress with one person caring for multiple children. “Two-parent families tend to have more money and some less tangible benefits, including less stress, more grandparental involvement, and fewer unexpected changes” (Leonhardt). Children who grow up in a two-parent home will grow old not knowing how to run their own family because everything has been done for them. Unlike children who grow up in a single-parent home, it will most likely be easier for them to be raised by their mother due to their experience. Seeing the mother struggle hard but always get things done was a great motivator for both the boy and the girl. Guys will start looking for a woman who works as hard as his mother.
