Over time, religion has been seen as a choice and, from that moment on, has been generated into an identity for the most part part of human beings; one who was able to provide a path to follow and a set of rules on which to base one's life. He created communities and then from those communities separate factions arose. Religion has been seen for thousands of years as a necessary threshold for maintaining order, as well as providing remedies for exhausting questions that could not be answered by mortals alone. Conversely, not all faiths were perceived as equal, and those known as minority were seen as corrupt and taboo. These lesser-known beliefs are today known as sects.
