They told us we were moving two hours away to a town called Sauk Center. My sisters were sad to leave their friends, but I was so happy. We moved to Sauk Center two weeks later and I was determined to make friends. The first day I sat at the front of the room so everyone could see the new girl. When lunch time came, I sat at a table with three laughing girls who looked like they were having a lot of fun and were happy for me to join them. This group became my group of friends for the first two years at Sauk Center Secondary. When third year came we started to fall apart. We didn't talk to each other like we used to and we didn't sit together at lunch. That's when I found my best friend and we became inseparable. We went to the movies together, to sporting events, and Dairy Queen became our main hangout. Sammy and I don't talk every day like we used to anymore. Even though every time we see each other it's as if no time has passed. We can pick up right where we left off. I know she has my back and I do
