All teams need to start with a master plan. Start by training, storming, norming, executing and upgrading. The first step is to make sure you clearly understand what goal you are trying to achieve. “Self-directed workgroups consist of employees from various departments who collaborate on a specific project. These employees bring their expertise to the group to develop a product, design a process, or initiate a product launch. The self-directed working groups meet regularly to discuss the progress of their project. Each team member shares his knowledge with the team and learns from his colleagues. Self-directed teams require several characteristics to be successful”{ Kathy Adams McIntosh}. A successful team starts by making sure each member is diverse and accountable to the team. Make sure everyone realizes that everyone's opinion means something to the group. Taking everyone's ideas into consideration can help structure the entire plan. No favoritism will be produced in a group. Because this is what drives a group to separate and hide their brilliant ideas from team members. You can express your feelings in a way that everyone can expect and without having any negative feelings about it. Congratulations to everyone present
