All of these have elements that make you wonder what the problem is with people in this century. The first example is remote controls. What a great invention: now people simply have to press buttons to enjoy a television. However, it also created a great paradox. People spend hours looking for the remote control for their television when it is extremely simple to walk up to the television and press the power button. This shows that people are simply lazy to the point that the only time they are actually diligent is when they have to be diligent to be lazy. Another important issue concerns trademarks. People pay so much attention to brands that it becomes the most important factor in the price of an item.
