“Life is a box of chocolates; you never know what you will get. The movie Forrest Gump is full of wisdom when it comes to life and this is a perfect example of that. You may want many things in your life and even plan for them, but you must always be ready to face the unexpected. As I write this article, I think about what I want my life to be like in the future, and I hope it ends up the way I imagine, but the likelihood of that happening is very slim. That said, here are seven things I want for my future. I ordered them from least important to most important. Money security is ideal for me in the future. I don't care about being rich per say, but it would be relaxing to know that I don't have to live on my salary. This would give me the security of money and a nice house which I had already talked about, but above all it is also a job and it would give me great satisfaction to be able to help people. I have a passion for helping those in need and this job fits that description very well. Being a doctor, I could go to work every day and talk to my patients and help them regain their health. I could go home every night happy with what I was doing because I knew I did my best and did something good for someone else. It's a lot of work, but I think that's what I like about it. I love being trusted and my patients admire me and like my friends. Friends are very important because true friends will always tell you the truth and do anything for you. You will obviously go through difficult times in your life, and having someone who is there for you and understands you completely is essential to getting through them. I don't just want good friends for the hard times, but also for the good ones. I would love to be able to celebrate my successes with friends who actually care. I want to be able to call someone and go out for a nice lunch or shopping without having to seem annoying. True friends are hard to find and I would be happy with just one. The next thing I ask for is a good marriage. I want a husband I can come home to after a long day at work and complain about everything and he just listens. My husband should treat me with respect. I don't need someone to spoil me or do everything for me because I like an equal relationship. I want to do nice things for him and make him return the favor. I hope he is very supportive of my career and understands the sacrifices of being a doctor. But I hope to not let my career take over my family, and I'd like to make sure he knows he always comes
