Description - Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 Dubai International Airport is the largest construction project in the world, inaugurated on 14 October 2008 for public use. Currently, it has a large spatial area of 18,440,000 square feet as it boasts the largest airport terminal in the world. The semi-subversive terminal has a projected capacity of 43 million travelers and cost about $4.5 million to build. It operates exclusively for Qantas as only one of the two aircraft can be used in Terminal 3. The terminal occupies several Airbus A380 gates of which there are 18 gates in Concourse A and 5 gates in Concourse B. Terminal 3 can be considered a subversive construction that includes premium lounges and restaurants along with parking for 2,600 cars and 180 check-in entrances. The workstation proposes more than double the previous retail space in Concourse C of 52,000 square feet for retail facilities. When completed, it was the largest building footprint in the world, at over 1,713,000 square metres. It has the capacity to handle 43 million passengers per year.
