In April 2014, Flint, Michigan's city manager, made a decision that he thought would be best for the city to save money. Republican Gov. Rick Snyder-appointed city manager switches to Flint River from Detroit water system; Instead, the result was that many people had skin rashes, deaths, behavioral problems, and the Flint people had to rely on celebrity relief water, national guard, and relief water due to contaminated water. Even though this crisis started in April 2014, the crisis had a lack of media coverage, as of late 2015, more people are now trying to support the crisis. As the story unfolded, the thoughts that came to mind were: Why did it take a year for them to try to get back into the Detroit water system. Why is money such a big deal when many people's lives are at stake? In both incidents where I witnessed the absence of social inclusion, I believe recommendations like the ones I have listed below will help with similar issues in the future. The recommendations address individuals who are not only qualified, but also believe in social justice for all people. Another recommendation is that perhaps the police system needs to look into police academy training. What can police officers do differently to not only protect themselves but others. I think they should submit
