Topic > Essay on Wind Turbines - 937

Wind turbines are an efficient way to produce energy for power and electricity. They are built in a range between 40 and 94 meters in height. The main components of a wind turbine are the tower, rotor, rotor blades, nacelle, gearbox, generator, coupling and brake. It also contains components that follow the direction of the wind, cooling, heating and lighting protection. Wind turbines transform the kinetic energy of the wind and transform the energy into mechanical power. Mechanical energy can be used for other things like pumping water, but wind turbines turn the energy into electricity. It is the most environmentally friendly way to produce electricity compared to nuclear power or coal. The question on my mind is whether this is an ethical issue. I'm sure there's a problem with this. Wind turbines do not make much of a reduction in carbon emissions and are negatively affecting people around where the wind turbines are built. Tall turbines ruin the landscape and produce noise that can be extremely annoying and cause health and psychological problems for people living around wind turbines, which has come to be called "wind turbine syndrome". Should we listen to individual people and stop building wind turbines because of the potential harm to the individual, even if wind turbines do not contribute to worse environmental problems that may harm the majority of our human population due to climate change? that wind farms are located in areas where people live. Some people think that wind turbines are visual pollutants. Wind is unpredictable and never truly constant, so it is not a reliable source of energy. If the wind doesn't blow, they won't generate power. Just like solar panels, wind turbines aren't a... paper medium... are turbines?" A: "I think they're efficient and save energy in a way, but I'm extremely annoying." How are they annoying?" A: "They make this constant, continuous noise. I've lived there long enough to ignore it, but some days when I needed some peace and quiet, the wind turbines completely ruined it. ""There is also a problem with wind turbines casting shadows. Does this happen to you?" A: "No, I personally haven't had this problem because of the way my house is positioned, but I could imagine someone has gone through it." I have researched that wind turbines are interfering with wildlife and killing birds. What is your contribution? A: “It's a fact, every now and then when I think about it I see a dead bird here and there on the ground. It's crazy how something that's supposed to be environmentally friendly is killing life wild.”
