Your appearance affects how you are treated, whether you are discriminated against or given an advantage. I honestly believe that money doesn't buy class. You don't necessarily have to wear expensive clothes to look professional or upper class, it all depends on how you carry yourself. The way you dress and carry yourself says a lot about your class. That's why first impressions have such a great effect on us. How you dress for an interview will determine whether you get the job or not. I've also seen many different scenarios where people are discriminated against based on what they wear. I don't think the way people dress is a reason to discriminate against them, but I think everyone should know what is appropriate depending on the occasion. Many people dress the way they feel most comfortable or simply just wear what they like. If a man enters a place with a suit and tie he will definitely get more attention and respect than another man with a normal shirt and jeans. I always tell my family, friends and colleagues that you have to dress to impress. I don't need to have a couple hundred dollar outfit to look elegant and make a good first impression
