It would be encouraging to grant permission for organ donations. As stated in “The Organ Shortage for Transplants: Exploring Alternatives” “When asked whether organ donors should receive non-financial compensation for donating, 52% of U.S. respondents to the UNOS survey said yes. Only 5% of respondents expressed reservations about the "potential risk of problems/abuse" if compensation was used for organ procurement. Only 2% said they considered financial compensation immoral or unethical.” The numbers show that the majority would agree on the need to receive a certain compensation and could increase the number of donors. These are all solutions that need to be considered to increase the number of donors so that more lives can be saved and fewer families have to suffer from a death that could be
