Do you think Bill Gates is a hero for helping all those poor countries and creating a multi-million dollar company? Bill Gates was a hero because he always gave money to colleges to find cures and vaccines for health problems. It also drove Microsoft crazy and helped many people fix computers and create software for new computers. Gates was born on October 28, 1955 in Seattle, Washington. When Bill Gates was 13 years old he created his first computer program Bill Gates was also the creator of Microsoft. When she was in seventh grade she met a boy named Paul Allen. We both enjoyed computer software and learning about computers. When they were older, Bill and Paul founded Microsoft. After Paul left Microsoft, Bill brought in a new guy to help him run the business. Bill Gates later married Microsoft marketing executive Melinda French. In 1975 Gates dropped out of Harvard and began his career in software design. At this time Gates and Allen co-founded Microsoft. In 1997 its value was estimated at approximately $37 billion. Bill Gates and Melinda Gates have decided to create a health foundation to donate money to poor countries and universities.
