Whenever someone who claims to be Christian does something that is wrong by moral standards. The media always distorts history and doesn't tell the whole story of what happened. Then the reputation of the group as a whole is blamed for the actions of a man or woman who “claims” to believe. This is a dangerous thing and can cause problems that if the news had been reported correctly would never have happened. It also causes false judgments about anyone who claims to be of the same faith as that person. This is a current problem in today's society, with the Islamic religion taking the blame for terrorists who cause problems in pursuing the agenda that they themselves do not have for the religion as a whole. Eventually there will be a turning point and if we fail to control the media our future will not be as bright as initially thought. Overall I have been able to grow mentally over the years and have learned to deal with the problems I have when it comes to religion. Issues surrounding the inability to openly discuss religion, people using it in debates, and the media distorting religion to suit their agendas. These problems no longer aggravate me as before, but I still consider them a nuisance because they still have an influence even though I am used to how society
