we finished the season 15-7, losing to a top-ranked team in the district semifinals. In the end I was happy with the season because I felt like I was playing with the best group of kids in the state, but I didn't know if I would continue to play the sport I love. I have not received any offers from any undergraduate college. I believe God used that season to humble me because He had something bigger in store. I soon hear from Coach Ellis at Moravian Prep expressing his interest in having me play for him next season. I had no idea what grad school was, but it actually gave me another year to play basketball at a high level in an effort to earn a scholarship the following season. The Lord has shown me that in times when we feel rejected by man, it is really God trying to tell us that He has something better in store. that lesson right there is what helped me grow as a young man
