Your perception of a book may or may not have changed once you have seen the film produced based on a book. While reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey I was able to visualize what I believed the characters would be like in real life. Unlike the book, the film is presented the way the producer sees the characters, taking away the sense of imagination. The main difference between the book and the film is the point of view in which the story was told. The book is told from Chief's point of view and the film is not.
