Topic > Case Study on Social Justice and Business - 1652

The researchers tried to create some patterns in everyday organizational activity when discussing the problems of inequalities. It is sometimes often presented as a business case or social justice (Brewer, 2012). According to Tomlinson and Schwabenland (2010) for the non-profit organization the tension between social justice and the business case is a crucial point to make regarding diversity and equality. At the same time, the opposition's concern was that “the organization's work was based on social justice” (Tomlinson & Schwabenland, 2010). The primary mission of the non-profit organization is to serve society. At the same time, in NFP, there are ambiguities and variations in the foundation in terms. Diversity training program is a distinct set of training that aims to facilitate positive intergroup interaction, improve skills and knowledge base for interacting with other people (Alhejji, Garavan, Carbery, O'Brien, & McGuire, 2015 ). Recent trends show that the current work environment is diverse. Therefore, they require workers and employers to possess relevant skills, abilities and knowledge, in order to interact with colleagues, clients and customers more effectively (Jones et al., 2013). Jaynes & Dipboye (2004) state that if an organization has diversity within its team, it can facilitate success by promoting creativity and allowing the company to connect with its stakeholders (Jones et al., 2013). To ensure social justice, leaders and boards of directors in the nonprofit sector must reconcile their moral and business principles through utilitarian arguments. At the same time, it must be re-established accordingly (Tomlinson & Schwabenland, 2010). A case study example shows that UK voluntary organizations had equality and diversity in their working environment, which helps them to be different. As a result, many accidents occurred, for example they did not know international nursing practices, injuries to patients and staff occurred, "the hospital's use of restraint was high, with an overall rate of 0, 97 in the fiscal year” and the lack of quality improvement in nursing practices (Woods, 2016 Another crisis that happened to the healthcare system was “bullying, lateral violence, incivility, passive aggression, the). disengagement and other forms of toxic emotional negativity (TEN)” (Woods, 2016).
