The media has a great effect on television channels because they control what will or will not be shown on TV and for this reason, it would be good for children if television executives checked cartoons before broadcasting them on television. The brutality in those cartoon characters has negative effects on children. If managers decide whether it is correct or not and decide what kind of age groups can watch the cartoons they have, it will decrease the negative effects of animation on children because the only cartoons they will watch will be appropriate for their age. As Federman argues, program producers can modify broadcasts by altering the times of violent cartoons, lowering their brutality, or they can even reduce violence in animation by monitoring cartoons and deciding which ones will be dangerous for children (41). However, sometimes, they broadcast cartoons randomly for their own profit and don't even think about who is watching them. According to Sharma's article, “... Responsible TV should show the consequences of violence and present alternatives to resolve conflicts non-violently. It is dangerous to show violence as a solution to problems” (“Will they ever be able to deglamorize violence on TV?”).
