Wright Brothers; the first flight Perhaps the most influential brothers in the history of aviation, Wilbur Wright born April 16, 1867 Millville, Indiana and Orville Wright born August 19, 1871 Dayton Ohio, creative and technological genius revolutionized the transportation system on earth. The Wright brothers were the first to fly a heavier-than-air controllable self-propelled flying machine on December 17, 1903. The Wright brothers' passion for aviation came early. Their shared interest in flying dates back to 1878, when their father brought a mini helicopter home one evening. They thought he didn't fly but were surprised to see him fly when his father threw him into the air. The mini helicopter really got them interested in flying machines and inspired them to build the world's first airplane. In 1896, newspapers were filled with reports of flying machines. Wilbur and Orville noted that all of these planes lacked adequate controls. They began to wonder how a pilot could balance a plane in the air. In 1899, the brothers began testing their ideas for how a pilot could control an airplane. But before they could do that, they did some research. They looked for books and articles on flying machines, talked to civil engineers, even wrote a letter to the Smithsonian, and obtained technical documents on aerodynamics. After some research, the Wright brothers tested their flight control ideas on a number of non-powered aircraft between 1900 and 1902. These planes were flown like kites to see their aerodynamic performance. Between 1900 and 1902 the Wright brothers made hundreds of kites to obtain accurate data, but the data didn't help them at all, so during the winter of 1901-1902 Wilbur and Orville built the... medium of paper... passion of the brothers for flying machines. Because of their tremendous achievements in aviation, Wilbur and Orville Wright are called the father of modern aviation. Since the first successful flight of the Wright brothers on December 17, 1903, many things have changed, the Wright brothers' plane was only capable of carrying one passenger, but the modern passenger plane can carry up to 500 passengers but is based on the flyer of Wright. We cannot imagine what our life would be like without flying cars. Airplanes are necessary in these modern times; after all, it is the fastest and safest way to travel and transport goods, as well as the backbone of modern warfare. So, one way or another, Wilbur and Orville changed our lives and made man's oldest dream possible - to fly, using their ingenuity and ability to solve problems, they created the world's first heaviest self-propelled machine air capable of flying..
