Three hundred and sixty-five days in a year. One hundred and seventy-five spent at school. Somehow the question still gets asked: year-round schooling? My answer: absurd! Year-round schooling should not be implemented. Students would be overwhelmed with information and teachers would not be able to receive additional benefits. Not to mention, students and teachers would have less time to spend with their families. Naturally, students would begin to feel overwhelmed with information in the case of year-round schooling. The neurological study by Dr. Kyle Rogers and Associates demonstrated that the brain places a limit on its capacity when it is bombarded with too much information over a long period of time. I lived in Ohio for two years where I had the unfortunate opportunity to attend an experimental school year-round. During a normal school year I was fine, however going beyond that I couldn't grasp things fully or retain information that my fellow students agreed on.
