At a young age children were brainwashed about how Jews no longer fit into society. The children were thought to tease Jewish children and make them feel unwelcome wherever they went (Violence, 2006). At the beginning of 1933 the Jews had a long road ahead of them. The Jews themselves did not belong anywhere in Europe. It's more likely that someone and everything will come in and destroy what they had and what they had done, and it's all over in a flash. Everyone blames the Jews for losing World War I, so in a way that was the beginning of discrimination against the Jews. In 1933, when Hitler came to power, only eight years later did the Nazis actually begin killing Jews. Many people think that when Hitler came to power he started killing them all, but that wasn't the case. The Three Major Turning Points in Jewish Life One: Hitler came to power; most Jews were removed from the German civil services. Second: In September 1935 the Nuremberg Laws were enacted. Which meant that if you were Jewish and had a relationship with a non-Jew it was no longer allowed. Third: The Nazis began to burn down all the Jewish synagogues and local shops owned by all Jews. Sooner or later millions of Jews were sent to the camps, to work hard, and millions of them died
