Topic > Understanding Jesus Christ in Christianity and Islam

The world has always been full of different religious beliefs, because there is probably no universal explanation of the origins of human creation. Since ancient times we have all needed a symbol of faith and the existence of the judge, who sees everything and is therefore always ready to evaluate, or punish. Depending on the extent to which we have followed his commandments. The two religions: Islam and Christianity are very different, and their followers are people whose worldview is different from each other's. However, these two faiths both believe in the existence of Jesus Christ. It makes the two different religions mystically connected and creates a vision of the existence of one God, who has different names, but, in reality, is unique to all people. However, the understanding of this significant figure is very different: Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God, while Muslims believe that he is the messenger of God, who was born of a virgin mother and performed miracles. The sources Understanding the figure of Jesus Christ in the two religions is, obviously, the Koran and the Holy Bible, the most respectable books, which contain the main concepts of each faith. Information about this important figure cannot be denied, because even historians have admitted his existence. The birth of the child was described similarly by the two religious men. Both: the Bible and the Quran believe that he was born of a virgin woman, whose name was Mary. The Bible says: "..."the time came when the child was born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger" (Luke 1:6-7, Christianity and Islam ) On the other hand, the Koran also describes Jesus and...... middle of paper ......t. While Christians believe that Christ was killed and resurrected, Muslims completely deny his death , hence the fact of resurrection (they believed that God simply took him back). So, we can see that there are many similarities in Islam and Christianity's understanding of Jesus, but they are also different of the two religions denies the existence of this great figure.
