It was the year 2014 when I was in the United States when I heard the news of President Obama's 2009 federal stimulus package which states the goal that by 2014 every resident in the United Uniti will have an electronic medical record. That's when I started following articles/news about information science and it really fascinated me that this multidisciplinary field includes hardware, software, databases, networks and people. I learned about IT design and usability, bioinformatics, and emerging health technologies. The role of informatics is rapidly growing in the healthcare industry and I am completely fascinated by how healthcare IT helps deliver effective healthcare to patients. What interests me most in choosing healthcare IT is the use of technical knowledge, structural approach and advanced programming skills used for a more scalable healthcare IT infrastructure and the need for further studies to address the challenging aspects of implementation future of health information technology. My goal is to continue my studies in a field in which I really want to give my best and with which I can build a career. Health IT is one such field where I can see myself working on interesting projects and having different opportunities to develop my skills. Say no to plagiarism. Since childhood I have been a hardworking student, I have been one of the best students in middle and high school and have participated in various school competitions, cultural and sports activities which have always required an innovative perspective in me. I was awarded the "Perfect" badge for my academic and extracurricular achievements. After passing high school, I got admitted to my Bachelor of Electronics and Communication Engineering at RIMT Engineering College, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab. My dedication and interest in the subjects helped me stand out during my undergraduate studies with a total of 83%, which helped me rank among the top 1% of students in my college and was awarded several times due to outstanding academic results. For summer education During my undergraduate studies, I spent eight weeks at Thapar University, Punjab, where I studied the basics of electronic and communications engineering. I also completed two projects, the first was "How to Build a Simple FM Amplifier", a low-cost circuit that can be used to hear distant FM stations clearly and the second was "Build an FM Receiver", an electronic device that receives radio waves and converts the information they carry into a usable form. For my final undergraduate thesis, I was selected among the few students to do an internship at Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CISO) national laboratory, Chandigarh for four weeks. There I learned various aspects of computational instrumentation during my four-week stint. My main internship was for four months at Punjab State Transmission Corporation LTD, one of the largest electricity generation and distribution companies of the Punjab state government in India. I learned about various operations and maintenance of the state's power generation projects and distribution system. After I graduated, I was offered a teaching position by my own university because of my parents.
