There is a group of people who are attracted only to the same sex. They have not yet been fully accepted and approved by society. The world considers them abnormal; the Bible defines homosexuality as a sin. Homosexuals have been fighting for their right to be treated equally for many years, as have others who support and embrace those of different sexualities. Their only aspiration is to prove to the world that homosexuality is not a sin. There are so many factors that lead to homosexuality. And they all prove that there is nothing wrong with being gay; instead, it's simply a different way to live a life. First, homosexual desire is mainly caused by exoteric factors. Many studies on homosexuality show that the vast majority of homosexuals believe that their behavior is the result of environmental influences. Reasons for preferring homosexuality include: early homosexual experience with adults, homosexual friends, poor relationship with parents, unusual development including sissies, artists and tomboys, unavailable heterosexual partners, social ineptitude and being born that way, where first homosexual experiences with adults has the highest percentage (Cameron 8). Family anomaly is one of the most important factors. A dominant, possessive and rejecting mother, an absent and distant rejecting father, a parent with homosexual inclinations, a sibling with homosexual tendencies, the lack of a religious family environment, divorce, parents who model unconventional sexual roles and the condonation of Homosexuality as a legitimate lifestyle can all greatly influence the boy's sexuality (Cameron 19). Sometimes, the family's excessive expectations of a child might also impact the child's sexuality. For example a father......middle of paper......they are normal people just like us. It's simply a different way of loving. Works Cited Anderson, Inge. “How do people become gay?” glow.cc. Np, 10 May 2010.
