They are used to collect data on enemies and also target them if desired. The federal government uses drones to patrol the borders of Mexico and Canada. NASA uses them to monitor storms. Drones could be used to help a missing person or alert officers to accidents and crimes and provide video of what happened. They could also be used to fight fires. Domestic use of drones could compromise our right to privacy. I think weapons on domestic drones should be prohibited. There should be no logical reason why a weapon should be attached to a drone. It's probably fine to have armed drones at war, but not against a civilian population, especially in our own backyard. Law enforcement must have probable cause before collecting data using drones on a suspect. The government should find a way to establish standard regulations on the issue of drones. Drones could be useful servants of humanity, but their use should be regulated. Just like any advanced technology, if its purpose was abused or fell into worn-out hands, things would be terrible
