That's why I'm applying for a doctorate. program in Educational Studies in Adult Learning, at the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary. I am very motivated to engage in academic activities in the field of educational studies; in particular, I intend to conduct quality research on educational issues in adult education and learning contexts. The PhD degree is essential to develop my skills and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities that will help produce quality research in my area of ​​interest. I have a special interest in developing policies for adult learners that seek to provide increased safety and resources to those children who need help most, children with educational difficulties, and members of at-risk minority groups. For this research objective, the target audience of my research is elementary school teachers. I would like to evaluate the existing elementary teacher training program in Pakistan and highlight its shortcomings. I will also develop a teacher training program that will meet the requirements of the modern era. I studied economics and statistics in my undergraduate degree. I have completed a Masters (Economics) from Punjab University, Pakistan. I also completed M. Phil (Master of Philosophy in Applied Economics) from the University of Karachi, Pakistan. The title of my thesis was "Determinants of health expenditure and its distributional impacts on various income groups in Pakistan......half of the paper......strengthen my research skills and learn about the theoretical paradigms and research related to educational policy especially for adult learners. Finding the research interest of considerable faculty in these fields is an added bonus with me), will give me the opportunity to hone my research and teaching strength.
