There may be no more whips, plantations and slave auctions and all now, no matter what color a free human being is, but the oppressive mentality is still around . Racial microaggressions are a daily problem for people of color, who experience offensive and racist comments in every aspect of their lives and are constantly reminded that they are different and are not what society's elites have determined is normal.
