The documentary "Earthlings" directed by Shaun Monson is a great example because it uses hidden cameras inside factory farms to show how animals are treated on a daily basis - day. It shows the audience various animals kept in confined spaces with only a little room to move, if any. Chickens and pigs suffer from severe stress and anxiety due to lack of space and overcrowded conditions which can lead to cannibalism. The film shows how companies try to avoid this by mutilating animals: cutting teeth, docking tails and ears of pigs, and debeaking chickens. However, about 33 minutes into the film, it is shown that these practices are done very quickly and can cause extreme damage if not done.
