unique denomination and its most politically influential” (Warf & Winsberg, 2008). Undoubtedly the Baptist religion has reached the hearts of people to unite and experience a new form of faith. Although Pastor Jose's church was not large and did not have a large number of people, what made it special was the way faith was joyfully expressed during worship. Together, each member sang and prayed to God. This worship is all part of Christianity, as seen in many Christian denominations. Furthermore, “Baptists see Christianity as a lifestyle, indeed as a life, of worship and obedience in faith and fellowship” (Hays & Steely, 1963, p. 35); in such an intimate setting, church members worship as a whole. Like any other church, a cult is made up of different elements that represent faith. During Baptist worship I observed many different elements that were different from my Catholic faith. Since I have attended Catholic masses, there is an intuitive structure of the mass followed every Sunday. Everything seems planned and formal. During the Baptist worship service I attended, I felt like there was no structure or typical way to worship. The reason is that “these services do not follow any single standard plan. During a Catholic mass, towards the end, Holy Communion is compared to the body and blood of Christ. This is where the body and blood of Christ are represented by the bread and wine. The priest prepares the bread and wine and blesses them, then shares them with everyone during the mass. When I interviewed Pastor Jose, he acknowledged that Baptists do not participate in or accept communion. Communion for the Baptist is also known as the Last Supper.
