People are always in a hurry when trying to express their feelings verbally, however, in the case of writing down such feelings, it becomes a challenge. It takes practice and effort to improve your writing; with this course I was able to do it. Through this course I learned how to properly express those feelings. Additionally, this course was a big transition from high school, but it helped me improve my writing skills. Even though I have improved, I still have weaknesses that I hope to improve in EN 102. However, overall this course has not only improved my writing skills but also my social awareness. The biggest improvement I made in this course would be my passion to write more. Before this course, writing was a hobby I did as a last resort. This intrigued me, but it wasn't passion. For years I believed that my writing wasn't good enough because I couldn't adequately express my thought process in a manner that others could understand; I thought my writing was very weak. At the beginning of this class, the reason I was late for a lot of assignments was because I didn't want to turn in an assignment that demonstrated my lack of writing skills. However, as the class progressed and I continued to complete assignments, I became more and more confident in my writing. Also, the way I grew as a writer was becoming more and more confident in the words I wrote. I was more confident in my writing because I learned to improve my writing by outlining an outline before starting an article. Without a plan I would lose my train of thought, I would digress and make common mistakes; it would be catastrophic. The purpose of an outline is similar to having d...... half of the paper ...... eliminate errors to correct them. Overall, writing still takes me on a journey where I enjoy traveling because it's a world of things to do. unknown, until you the writer creates his image. Through this course I regained my love for writing. Even the simple writing assignments in this course enticed me to write in a way that involved my audience in the journey I took as I completed this assignment. Outlines are my road maps to successfully completing a task because they help me navigate and organize my thoughts. Even though I have an outline to guide me through my thought process, the use of grammar is a hindrance, and that is what I want to improve in EN 102 by rebuilding my knowledge of grammar from scratch. I hope that by the time I am ready to complete the college writing exam, I will have mastered the essential writing skills and will be ready to continue my college career.
