Al Gore says global warming skeptics are a group that is declining almost as fast as mountain glaciers. (Michael Shnayerson) Global warming is the gradual increase in the Earth's surface temperature believed to be caused by the greenhouse effect. Today I will discuss with you a growing environmental problem known as global warming, including its causes, effects and solutions. First I will explain what causes global warming. Then I will highlight the effects of global warming. As a final point, I will discuss several solutions for this. I would like to start by informing you about the causes of global warming. II. Global warming is caused by greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to global warming. The evidence is overwhelming that, according to Earth environmentalists, moisture evaporates from humid lands, leading to more precipitation. One effect of this is that you observe how little moisture the land produces. Since 1970, global warming temperatures have increased by about 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmer the air, the more water it contains. However, overall U.S. forecasts since 1900 have increased; in the last 35 years it has increased by 7%. Rainfall increased up to 14% and heavy rain increased up to 20%. For example, when the news announces that there will be a light rain, in reality we have seen that the opposite usually happens and it ends up raining even harder. On the other hand, there are some areas of the Midwest that are considered dry areas that are part of the United States, located mainly in the Southwest, where they become drier. The reason for this is because the warm air lifts what little moisture is in the soil and you can see more drought. (Shnayerson, Michael). Global warming is causing the ocean atmosphere to warm more than usual even though the oceans already appear to have unleashed tropical hurricanes of greater intensity and duration than in the past. If global warming continues; ocean storms will increase dramatically. Due to warming, the entire North Sea ecosystem is in a state of “ecological collapse”. There are a couple of solutions to global warming, one solution is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions so we can decrease climate change. let's see today. “The planet can be cooled by as much as 0.5 degrees C with quick action to reduce air pollution from coal-fired power plants, gas fracking, diesel trucks and biomass burning, recent studies show.” (Leahy, Stephen). However; some argue, however, that taking action against climate change in the United States will be costly and harmful; this is a big problem that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Unfortunately, statements that change the facts delay the proper evaluation of policy options. This can result in costly policies, procedures, and policies that can harm hard-working American families and cause little reduction in global carbon emissions. The Obama administration's decision delayed and perhaps denied the Keystone XL pipeline which is a prime example. There are many interventions to slow down climate change. For example, artificial trees that can imitate the photosynthesis of a real tree by being able to observe carbon dioxide in the air. This is possible if Washington and other capitals help stimulate the market for such carbon capture technology. Carbon capture technology should be further implemented to combat looming climate change and global warming.
