When I was in eighth grade, there was a problem to take care of and rich kids weren't usually the ones to turn to for these kinds of situations because it's always believed that the more one person is rich, he cares less about the poor, which is never entirely true. Whether I was in Haiti, Miami, or Montreal, Canada, I was always seen as a rich kid who had no compassion for anyone except wealthy members of the social class. Having always gone to private schools somehow always brought me back to being called the "Rich Richie" of everywhere. I have been loved by many, but the question still remains whether they loved me for the right reasons. Some ordinary people might find that name reassuring and proud, but to me it is nothing more than a scar that will remain implanted in a body that does not. know who you belong to. All my life I have dealt with this issue not because of race, color, or gender, but simply because I always attended schools where I, like many of my friends, was always the richest or the one who always had is "good" according to most other students. I've never liked being called a rich guy because being called "that rich guy" is never as relaxing as it might seem. Very often, those who are called "the rich" are often connected with hidden messages behind them. It wasn't in Montreal, Quebec that I was first confronted with this problem, but it was only then that I was confronted in such a grand way. Being rich does not mean owning property or owning gold or money, my definition of a rich person is one who, without a doubt, can help everyone around him without having to worry about money or materialism which, according to many, is the most important thing . only key to happiness.Whi...... middle of paper......es, does it really help the poor or was it just a frame. Life as we know it doesn't give out gifts, they are earned. Judgment exists in the world but if it is too hasty it can turn into ignorance. Other than that, I know deep down in my heart that we did the right thing. Often misunderstood by the world, the rich are not all bad, not everyone lives well by sucking the riches of others to impoverish and hurt them and not everyone has a cold heart. Having enough money to live and having a family that works for the betterment of the lives of the poor is a privilege, not a shame to turn into a "rich kid". Names will always be given to those who are misunderstood and change all starts from within, so all that's left to do is make sure that social, circumstantial or even political reasons don't stop anyone from doing what's right.
