Topic > Bob Wiley's Analysis in What About Bob - 729

The types of treatment he takes part in include: seeing a psychiatrist regularly, talking to himself for encouragement, taking medication, and reading a book Leo recommended about setting small, reasonable goals. Everything Bob does to try to alleviate his disorder is typical of people with anxiety problems because it really works, and Bob is proof of this because his problems in most cases vanish. I really think that if people who have similar anxiety problems as Bob take Bob's character as an example, they can overcome their anxiety problems. Living with Bob would be quite an experience because the movie doesn't make him seem all that bad, but it would be much harder to live with a person who suffers from a more realistic type of anxiety disorder. They would always be afraid to leave the house or just do normal, natural everyday things. Although it could also be good because the house would probably be neat and clean. Overall, I thought: What about Bob? it was absolutely fun and I would recommend it to pretty much anyone. It was also quite clean which made it great, family friendly
