Pollution disrupts the normal properties of an ecosystem. The dripping of the Himalayan glacier becomes less and less every year. This is the water that supplies most of the world. If this trend continues, we can expect wars to be fought over the remaining drinking water. Human-caused pollution also traps carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and warms the planet. Uneven temperatures interfere with natural resources and lends itself to war and poverty which are directly related to higher birth rates. These new people will have to eat, and the effort to feed them will damage the environment even more. Unless we change our ways of polluting, we can expect this snowball
