The Wizard of Oz Review The movie I will talk about is The Wizard of Oz Directed by Victor Fleming, created in 1939. This movie was about a girl named Dorothy (Judy Garland) who they live with his uncle named Henry (Charley Grapewin) and his aunt named Em (Clara Blandick) on a farm in Kansas. The story begins with Dorothy walking home past her neighbor, Miss Gulch (Margaret Hamilton), where her dog Toto (Terry) enters her yard and harms Toto. Toto then bites Miss Gulch. After all this conflict, Dorothy dreams of a distant land. Then Miss Gulch comes to Dorothy's house to get rid of the dog. She managed to get the dog away, later the dog ran away and returned to Dorothy. Dorothy then decides to run away from home. During this process she met a wizard named Professor Marvel (Frank Morgan) who convinced her to return to her family. When he arrives at his house there is a tornado and he can't find any of his family. Dorothy then runs back to her house where she is amazed with her home in the land of Oz.
