In the past, women were not as educated as men, which led to male domination in high-level careers. This has led to the stereotype that women are inferior to men in work, education, or success. Traditions believed that a woman's place was in the kitchen, cooking for her husband and taking care of the children. The fact is that women are the family caregivers, so they “reduce their working hours to take care of the family” (Glynne). In some communities and families, women are not allowed to seek other jobs with their husbands or customs. Therefore, women in such situations depend only on what their husband earns from work. Traditions should change based on the modern economy that requires paid work for survival through access to basic necessities
