The reason this is so difficult for individuals and society to understand is because it is immersed in a religious context. This almost becomes an impossible challenge because everyone is in different places and varies with religion. However, no matter how religious or non-religious you are, you cannot claim that God, Brahman, Jesus, Buddha, Allah, or any other notable religious figure can claim that their "leader" promotes evil. Love on the other hand is promoted by all of this. Kindness and compassion are supported by all these religions. Love is the opposite of evil by definition. Derek Jarman, English director, set designer, artist and writer, gives an inspirational quote saying: “Understand that sexuality is as wide as the sea. Understand that your morality is not law. Understand that we are you. You understand that whether we decide to have safe, safer or unsafe sex is our decision and you have no rights in making love. The bluntness and honesty of it all boils down to the fundamental law that there should always be a separation of church and state.
