When we think about the consequences of intellectual devices, we are inclined to ask what can be done with them. In other words, technology is a tool that is used to meet our needs. The online modules describe how we see and develop ourselves. A great allusion that delves into the question of contemporary digital life is Grit. This is “the tendency to sustain interest and effort toward goals” (Duckworth Lab). As we reflect on the meaning of grit, we need to focus on our voluntary self-control when it comes to the web.
