Having access to the arts allows you to freely express your emotions and individuality, while at the same time stimulating your cognitive abilities. It motivates students to achieve academic success by accentuating active engagement, sustained attention, creative thinking, risk-taking, and many other skills (12). Higher test scores, higher critical thinking scores, greater social tolerance, greater historical empathy, and overall better academic achievement were found in students who had greater exposure to the arts than those who did not (5) . According to a report from the NEA (National Endowment for the Arts), children and adolescents of low socioeconomic status who have greater exposure to the arts also have greater employment opportunities, greater civic engagement, and higher career goals (3). All of these things are necessary for developing youth, especially with the constant advancements in today's world. The availability of the arts in our community not only encourages personal development, but also has many positive social effects. It nourishes the cultural sector, strengthens quality of life, mobilizes communities and transforms neighborhoods and cities into places of interest, attracting tourism and young professionals to these areas (13). Aspects such as tourism have an incredible impact on our economy.
