Doctor Who is a science fiction television show in the United Kingdom and is broadcast by the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation). The show was created by Sydney Newman, a Canadian film and television producer who brought Doctor Who to the UK on 23 November 1963. Newman was known as the man who laid the foundations for the show by giving the idea of the "blue box" being larger on the inside than the outside and also for giving its name to the show and to "The Doctor" himself. Now when I say "The Doctor" I'm obviously referring to the hero of the show who in the case of the beginning would be William Hartnell, but he wasn't almost always paired with just the Doctor and his lonely self a lovely companion and his was Carole Ann Ford as Susan Foreman "the Doctor's niece". In Doctor Who the hero of the show is known as The Doctor, he is an alien known as a Time Lord who comes from the planet called Galifrey. Time Lords don't look that strange because they are aliens, in fact they look like any other human, except they look European/Caucasian, but don't let their appearance fool you. They come with a variety of things that make them special, such as the fact that they could survive falls that would otherwise shatter human bones, they have great resistance to extreme cold and down to sub-zero temperatures, and extremely low vacuum pressure to about six minutes, together with the cold they can also survive extreme heat. They can withstand electric shocks which would be fatal to humans and with that they are also capable of absorbing radiation which can be fatal to anyone else but once absorbed they can transform such radiation into a form which is harmless to humans. Time Lords are also known to be... middle of paper... the doctor has stopped these villains countless times and even wiped out entire races to stop the spread of that kind of evil race just to keep the universe at safe from all who seek to do good even if it means doing so or destroying entire planets with them. This is Doctor Who, the British science fiction television program produced by the BBC. The program chronicles the adventures of a Time Lord known as the Doctor as he explores the universe in his Tardis, a time-traveling spaceship that from the outside appears to be a blue British police box. Along with a host of companions, the Doctor faces a variety of enemies as he works to save civilizations, help ordinary people, and right the wrongs committed by the evil that sets out to destroy him and the universe. Now let's wait and see if this fifty year old show will last another fifty and if so let's see where in space and time it will send us next.
