King Candy didn't want Vanellope, known as a glitch, to compete in races. Turbo (King Candy) took Vanellope's piece out of the game, so no one remembers who she really is, not even her. From then on it became a technical problem. (Wreck-It Ralph) Usually a typical king would do what is best for the people he is the leader of. King Candy didn't want Vanellope to compete because he knew she would go back to normal and everyone will remember who she is. She knew she would be Sugar Candy's top runner and leader if she crossed the finish line. King Candy contradicts the stereotype of the typical king because he doesn't want people to find out who he really is, he is Turbo. He pretended to be a good guy but in reality he was a devil. Even at the end, Turbo (King Candy) turned into a bug, but he still didn't let Ralph go free
