Orville and Wilbur Wright were born four years apart Orville was born on August 19, 1871 in Dayton, Ohio and Wilbur Wright was born on April 16, 1867 in Millville, Indiana. They were two of seven children of a bishop of a well-traveled church. It was on one of those trips that he brought them a toy helicopter to play with. They said this toy started their love of flying and encouraged them to learn more. They sadly died in 1948 (Wilbur) and 1912 (Orville), but not before changing the face of aviation. Although the famous Orville and Wilbur Wright are no longer with us, their heroic enterprising attitude still shines in many modern inventions and innovations. I believe the Wright brothers are heroes of avian and industrial advances and have symbolic importance because they were the first to build and fly a controllable aircraft heavier than the airplane. They also symbolize how you can do something great without traditional continuing education. First, you can thank Orville and Wilbur Wright for that plane ride to California or the gift you had to ship to Germany for whatever reason. Orville and Wilbur Wright meticulously changed the speed at which goods, ideas, and people converged and traveled. For example, the Wright Brothers are the reason you see such a diverse and cultured crowd on the streets of New York City. Furthermore, they are the reason why there are Chinese restaurants in America and McDonald's in China. The Wright Brothers helped people do many things, including enjoying flying in their free time, having ease and comfort in travel, and saving lives through Star Flight and rescue planes. It is for these reasons that we see their heroic nature. The Wright Brothers didn't just create an old steering wheel... out of paper... whatever they could to build and fly this amazing contraption. This is why they are considered heroes. Like the men who traveled to the Moon, they made the impossible possible. At the time, their tiny flight from 200 to 800 feet was compared to the exciting scientific advance of the moon landing. Small-town Orville and Wilbur Wright are heroes, not because of an elaborate education, but because of ambition and the desire to find answers to the impossible. . They give people hope that keeps them going and moving forward to find those answers. They show that even if you come from a poor educational background, you can still do something extraordinary and earth-shattering in your life.
