Furthermore, process and outcome data would also enable an in-depth understanding of the disorder. Jones, (2007) stated that due to the documentation of various processes and interventions; competent doctors would be able to carry out further research into the disease. This research may involve the comparison of various data from different patients, thus contributing to the standardization of different nursing interventions (Stone and Walker, 2007).
