Topic > Personal Philosophy of Success - 749

To describe my personal philosophy of success I should first define “success”. Success is the achievement of a goal or purpose. My success philosophy that I intend to implement from now on is to accept personal responsibility for the good and bad choices I make. There will be a time when I will have to focus on school and worry less about my free time. If I have to take a test, I have to study for that test to get a good grade, and continuing to get good grades will help me pass the course. I can't depend on someone else to do my job for me. I am personally responsible for completing my assignments and turning them in on time. When the weekend comes and all I do is procrastinate telling myself I'll study later. The smart thing to do in this situation would be to think wisely and use my time management strategies. I will always have time for myself, so it's worth sacrificing some free time now. This helps me to be a creator and not a victim of things and to keep up with the self-management strategy. The success strategies I will use will help my learning style, self-management and personal responsibility. Most people believe that success is simply having lots of money, cars and women, but I believe that success is an individual sport and I have to be ready to play it because the result of my performance is based on the work I put into it . A second strategy I think it is very useful for my university career to set goals. This is helpful for someone like me who always seems to slow down in school and give in to less important concerns. For example, I would have school and work as my main priorities, but I would get distracted and end up playing video games or just hanging out without doing anything productive with my time. I decided to put a certain…half a sheet of paper…everything and write down the important events. Also from personal experience DO NOT procrastinate. Be interdependent rather than just relying on you or everyone else, find a balance between the two. I think the most important thing to do is believe in yourself. You cannot achieve your goals without this key factor. It also uses a calendar, follow-up list, and tracking form. These help so much, I know from personal experience this year. This reduces stress and helps keep you organized and on track with your goals. “Where you come from” influences almost every factor in your life. It can make or break you. It makes you who you are today and who you will become in the future. If you come from humble beginnings, you might want to make it a goal to not put your family through this and have money, as well as making you appreciate the little things in life...
