The teacher is an integral part of the home and school environment, like the mother, she must be an educator and at the same time not hinder the child's self-discovery. As professionals entrusted with the education of the individual, teachers must facilitate learning and academic, personal and ethical growth. Teachers must recognize that each child is considered a unique individual and will learn differently, despite their culture, gender, or socioeconomic status. Dewey expands on this concept by stating that a good facilitator should be responsive to the child's social structure to provide appropriate education for each individual child (Johnson & Reed,
