Topic > Schlitterbahn Theme Park False Advertising

Many people enjoy theme parks as a family event or just to get away from work. But how do you find out about a theme park? Many discover theme parks through advertising on the Internet, on television or even through advertisements or promotions. When Schlitterbahn opened, there was big promotion and the media was swarming. It looked like a great theme park and I was excited to travel and spend some free time at a new park. Although Schlitterbahn advertisements and Schlitterbahn the park are the same, the main rides, minor rides and the background theme in the Schlitterbahn advertisement look more attractive. When I arrived at the park I think the hype was a bit exaggerated as most of the rides and theme park were still under construction or being tested and finalized. First of all the main rides in the park were not all finished at most once. it was complete. The actual park only had a few rides compared to the advertisement which showed many more. A ride to Blastenhoff Beach was a major ride that everyone was looking forward to enjoying. Unfortunately, the trip was incomplete and the only thing complete was the swimming pool. Instead the advertisements had shown that this ride was in operation. The Black Knight Tunnel Slide was another slide promised and listed in the ad, but it was also under construction. When theme parks open, they should wait to advertise until the rides they plan to advertise are actually operating, to save those who can't wait to enjoy their day at the theme park. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it, what I'm saying is that it could have been more entertaining. Another advertised attraction was the Double Loop Body Slides, despite half the paper customers. This also ruins the themes of the park as it is not as advertised; It's a bit like false advertising. Bottom line, advertising the Schlitterbahn versus the park's Schlitterbahn is a big difference. The advertisement shows the size of the park and what it would be like. Likewise the park would be beautiful if it were finished. Major rides also have an effect on the park if there are no major rides compared to the decline in park excitement. On the other hand the smaller rides may give the park something to do but are not complemented by the fact that the park lacks the main ride. This in turn changes the theme of the park damaging its image. I know the park will grow over time and become a bigger park. This is the difference between Schlitterbahn advertising and Schlitterbahn Park advertising, it's all in the park advertising.
