GWU is also a very military-friendly school. I know this because I talked to a few armed service members who attended GWU and they all spoke highly of GWU. So having the opportunity to earn an online MBA from a school that promotes academic excellence was one of the main reasons I applied. GWU is also located in an area that will give me many opportunities to network with people in the Washington, DC area, including the opportunity to learn from influential speakers who can further shape me into a better leader. I am applying specifically to be accepted into an MBA program with a concentration in consulting. My Air Force career exposed me to multiple scenarios, setbacks, and outcomes. These situations intrigued me to pursue a civilian career in consulting. I am currently the primary advisor to the Component Maintenance Squadron Commander on all deployment requirements and logistics planning. My ability to remain alert and alert in many environments has produced exceptional results for my team and myself. So I believe that an MBA with a concentration in consulting will be a useful tool for my future career choice once I leave the workforce
