Topic > Musical Comedy: 1940 Murder Case Study - 701

It was a good setting to get the audience's attention and also a way to move or change the setting of the show. While I love this play, my little critic for this play was the players. Some other actors had understandable accents but some didn't. For example, the servant's brother had a confusing accent because he was constantly changing accents from different languages in the country. This comedy was really cute and had a little bit of everything: drama, comedy, romance, betrayal. What I like about this play was how they used dramatic structure, inciting incident and climax. The inciting incident for this musical comedy about the 1940 murders was guessing who the murderer in the play was because tension was building not knowing who the murderer was. The climax of this play would be for me to find out who the murder was and be shocked that everything changed in a new scenario. Overall it was great to show how it developed and how well the transition of the show was put together
