My desire to be an early childhood special education teacher Imagine you are a child sitting in a classroom. The teacher gave instructions and everyone works except you. You would like to raise your hand, but you are hesitant due to fear of being laughed at. The teacher reproaches you for not being up to the task and perhaps having to stay afterwards to make up your work. You are ashamed and want to give up completely. The teacher glares at you waiting for you to start your work. This example is one that I don't want my students to experience in class. I have a desire to become an early childhood special education teacher. I want to help the child who feels lost or can't understand as quickly as other children. I want students' nature to be relaxed and energetic. I want children to be curious and engaged in every aspect of the learning process. I hope students learn through hands-on activities as well as group and visual lessons. The students in my class should feel that the classroom...
