Each of the many elements of society presents its own problems. An example of a problem with society is education. Today, education is one of the main parts of a child's life. Education is where a child begins to join society and begins other valuable phases of their young life. Education is also the source of many jobs for older Americans. It is also one of the largest competitions between different countries around the world. Each aspect can be applied to a theory of sociology. Education can easily be linked to conflict theory as there will always be competition for power, wealth and prestige.
