By asking important questions, an organization can continuously improve its operations. There are five simple but effective questions that allow an organization to get the facts of a situation and make things better. “What are you doing?”, “How are you doing it?” and “Why are you doing this?” they are all fact-based questions that require an informative answer about the organization, its processes and values. The answers can shed light on problems and confusion within the organization. The questions “Who will make it better?” and "When?" are intended to solve these problems. I work for a small organization that specializes in three areas; machinery, fuel and animal feed. It is a family run business and it is very clear from the day to day operations that these questions are not asked. The main reason I see for the lack of management in this organization is that, because of the three different departments, everyone takes care of their own department and doesn't ask these questions about the company as if it were one. It makes some tasks difficult for workers because we don't know who to answer to
